A Clear and Real Understanding of Me

I do not believe in just a label/status. That in itself is an empty container. It is both defined and judged differently by each individual in a room. I do want to be clear in how I take on that role specifically with my values. I also believe the day I stop running, I am no longer a runner.

Pat’s spirit in any role or status…

What do you Love

Intentional and genuine quality time with friends and loved ones. This typically means making an intentional and memorable moment together.

Exploration Adventures (Non-Adrenaline). I like the journey and finding peace in taking in the atmosphere. ( Trail-Running, Scuba Diving, Rock-Climbing, Travel, Culture, Food) 

Creativity. Design, Utility, Uniqueness, and Beauty. 

 

A life that feels honest.

I care about meaningful work, strong relationships, physical capability, financial peace, and the freedom to live with intention. I’m less interested in appearances and more interested in alignment—where who I am and how I live actually match.

I want strength without ego.
Success without performance.
Peace without disengagement.

Clarity.

Clear communication.
Clear values.
Clear work.
Clear relationships.

I believe most problems come from confusion, avoidance, and unspoken expectations. I trust simplicity. If a kid can understand it, it’s probably strong.

That applies to websites, business, leadership, and life.

Integrity to ‘The Golden Rule.’ 

At minimum, you should meet the standard you require of others, and you should provide them them with the value you’ve assigned yourself. 

“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”
( this applies to your faith, business, relationships, freedoms, all)

I respect kindness, courage, humility, and people who can tell the truth without needing drama around it. Quiet strength means more to me than performance ever will.

Work that solves real problems and helps people move forward.

I love building systems, websites, brands, experiences, and stories that bring clarity. I care less about flashy marketing and more about trust, structure, and things that actually work long-term.

Good design should feel obvious.
Simple enough to understand.
Strong enough to last.

In every practice, the fundamentals on repeat contribute to 80-90% of professionalism. That’s the work and the priority. The extra details come as a consequence of that work. 

Honesty, a shared vision, and a shared effort to arrive.

Whether it’s friendship, business, family, or partnership—I believe relationships  survive on seeing each other’s whole selves, accepting them, and meeting their gifts and weaknesses acordingly. I believe we are working parts of a body with best roles in an ecosysten,

Trust grows when people feel safe enough to be real.

I appreciate the quote that touches on “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid”.

To the spirit of this quote, we all have our strengths! Let’s honor them! The contrast to our strengths should be give grace and love equally.  

Overextension.

I naturally run hard. I’ve felt I’ve had to, and that is nuanced. I care deeply, think deeply, and often try to carry too much. Sometimes that creates excellence. Sometimes it creates exhaustion.

I’ve learned to create space for peace and that enough can actually be enough.

Discipline is not just pushing harder, it’s knowing where to rest, and breathe, and even stop.

Integrity. Kindness. Courage. Loyalty. Growth.

I believe love and faith should be active.
I believe strength should protect everyone.
I believe clarity and kindness is respect.

I want to live in true symbiotic ecosystems where we leave each other better off. I think love is exponential energy creating force in this way.
